Born in Osaka, Japan
Graduated from Ritsumeikan University, Kyoto Japan
The reason I take pictures of nature is that it makes me feel calm when I come in contact with nature or when I go to a park with few people. I may be feeling the quietness and subtle changes that nature creates. The dignified morning atmosphere also sharpens my senses. I make such feelings into a work by releasing the shutter as if drawing a single picture. Also, the reason I shoot the work in black and white is because I was convinced that I can express the scenery I felt more accurately.
On the other hand, airplanes make me feel excited. I've always liked airplanes flying in the sky since I was a kid. And when I was in elementary school, I was impressed when I first saw the Blue Impass of the Japanese aerobatics team. I was overwhelmed by the performance that unfolded from the wonderful formation. That may be the reason why I am still looking forward to the aerobatics of Blue Impass. That's why I still keep taking pictures of airplanes. This is because I want to capture an airplane that I feel is cool as a work.
I feel different emotions working when I take pictures of nature and when I take pictures of airplanes. I hope that you who see my work will feel both of my worldviews.
